Michael Kanet
President & Owner

Michael founded iTernal Networks in 2009. He has always had a passion for technology and a love of helping people. He even began building computers and networks at age 14! Michael turned his passion into a career when he graduated from UNLV with a BSBA Degree in Management Information Systems. Now, Michael enjoys working with businesses to improve their technology to ensure continual business success, with a focus on their Cybersecurity. In his free time, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and their five children, playing volleyball or volunteering in his church.

Dana Ayala
Service Delivery Manager

Dana was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She has her Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity and holds several different IT industry certifications. Dana has been working in the IT industry for over 20 years and is passionate about her IT career, specifically her role at iTernal Networks. In her free time you can find Dana either indulging in her favorite video game or spending time with her ever growing family.

Ray Basilio
Help Desk/Onsite Specialist

Ray was born and raised in Southern California with this identical twin brother. Ray has a Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications Management and has over 20 years of experience in the IT field. Ray is new to the iTernal Networks team and is enthusiastic about bringing the very finest service for all of your IT needs. In his free time Ray is a family man who is proudly raising his five children.

Nick Race
Engineer Technician

Nick was born and raised in Las Vegas NV.  Nick served in the United States Air Force for 4 years at Barksdale AFB in Shreveport Louisiana with a primary focus on Cyber Security and Warfare.  While serving Nick finished his Community College of the Air Force Associates degree and finished various certs like Security + and CEH (Certified Ethical Hacking).  In his free time Nick continues his pursuit of constant knowledge in the technology field and does charitable work for local animal rescue shelters.  He also has an avid interest in automation. 

Gabe Rubio
Service Desk Technician

Gabe was born and raised in Honolulu, HI.   Gabe served in the United States Air Force for 4 years at Philippines and Grand Forks, North Dakota.  Gabe earned his Associates in Computer Networking Technology at Remington College Hawaii, while earning Certifications in A+, Net+ and MCSA.  In his free time Gabe continues his pursuit of constant knowledge in the Technology field, nationally competes as a physique bodybuilder, and teaches hip hop dancing.

Jerrod Looney
Service Desk and Field Technician

Growing up in a military family, Jerrod lived in Japan and Montana before settling in California. Later he would serve in the Air Force as a Bomb Navigation Technician at Barksdale AFB in Louisiana. After working as a Special Education teacher, DJ, and sound/video engineer, Jerrod got bit by the IT bug. He studied at Western Governor’s University, earning over a dozen industry certifications. Jerrod brings 20 years of industry experience and a friendly, enthusiastic approach to the team. When not working, he studies natural nutrition and exercise or hangs out with his incredible wife and their eight kids—usually watching classic tv shows and movies or telling really bad jokes.

Charles Garnes
Director of Business Development

Beginning his sales career in Washington, DC, Charles made the cross-country trek to settle in Las Vegas in 2015. With nearly ten years of experience working with small and medium sized businesses to develop overall strategy around their IT goals, Charles continues to be a key resource for our clients. Focused and passionate, his desire for achieving results and building relationships with our clients continues to steer the team to new opportunities. When not at the office, Charles occasionally leaves technology behind to go for long hikes or a daily run, and he is always looking for the next big science fiction series to dive into.

Betsie Jones
Office Manager

Betsie grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. She has her Bachelor's Degree in anthropology and a Master’s Degree in accountancy. She is a traveler and foodie at heart and there pretty much isn't anywhere she wouldn't love to visit, she is even married to a pilot! Betsie moved to Florida, California, and Idaho for her husband’s career but eventually returned to Las Vegas to be closer to family to help her with her four crazy kids and two fun German Shepherds.

Emily Tidd
Marketing Coordinator

Born in Illinois, Emily started her marketing career in 2012 after finishing Western Illinois University as a Departmental Scholar. She came to Las Vegas in 2014 and has since done marketing for multiple industries, including healthcare, legal, education, construction, and video games. Emily uses her knowledge of these industries to create marketing strategies that align potential clients to the IT services they need most. When she's not in the office, Emily is a costume hobbyist, and portrays superhero Captain Carter for the local charity group Critical Care Comics.
